  1. North of the River is the Gold Coast/River North Area. A lot more people around and people own the streets; south of the river is basically "The Loop". This is the business district and more cabdrivers are in this area. Two essential rules you must remember whenever in Chicago..
    1. Don't look like a tourist! If you must take photos, use your iPhone and not your $700 camera. Need directions? Go inside a restaurant, take a seat, then search. Never stand idle looking for Google maps to tell you where you are..
    2. NEVER walk in front of a Chicago Taxicab! They're all yellow and they will clip you and keep rolling.
Again, welcome to the Chi, please visit Garrett's popcorn, and visit the museums & take an architecture tour: Chicago has a lot of culture that the world doesn't know about!

  2. Hey Evan, I am 19 years old. I just want to thank you for making videos about being a successful entrepreneur. My whole life, I grew up spending my time on the computer for about 10 hours a day, playing nothing but counter strike and league of legends. Then just this summer, I completely turned my life around from never reading a book in my life, to reading a book everyday about finance, business, self-help, and entrepreneurship. When I quit gaming, I found your videos and since then, I try to watch your success videos as much as I can and not get distracted by gaming or "prank" videos. I wanted to message you because just today I realize you were a league of legend fan yourself, and I thought of what a coincidence it was that someone who was also a league of legend fan is on the path to make success videos yourself. I can relate so deeply and cannot thank you enough. I do not know where I am heading to my future, but I know that the first opportunity I get, I have enough knowledge and understanding about being self-made to handle myself and commit to whatever task is given to me. Thank you in advance and I hope to get a reply! Best Regards.

  3. We jaywalk here, just not wise to do downtown or any busy street, unless you want to get hit or cause an accident. Not sure how long you were in town, but I sure hope you tried the pizza (too many favorites to list)… and had time to go to the lakefront/beach and take a dip. Also hope you had time to check out some live music (you were in walking distant to House of Blues.)

  4. people were looking at you as you walked as if they were confused about what you were doing๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„!!! Be safe and am sure you will be excellent at your presentation.
